It's either you get retardedly sloppy trying to pose as a cool gent who just kinda happens to know English, OR you get too stiff in expressing your opinion/idea/feeling/what have you.TLDR: go practice some more and don't get caught up in your own idea of what English is all about.Ain't answering that gay poll of yours, lad

>>191941251Yeah. Honestly, this is the only ways I use English, only for receive information, english-to-receive and english-to-send are almost different languages, I can write simple sentences avoiding complex things (e.g. some crazy tenses), of course, but nothing more. And even worse with speaking. B

>>191940260 (OP)1) Not long enough. About 10 years, give or take with a huge breaks.2) It's a good tool for consuming more original content, primarily TV shows, but also movies, youtube. Understanding English helps me a lot with finding the right information on the internet.3) I do not. Got just one good friend. He is not into English. Don't know why.4) I can understand speech of native speakers in most cases. Something around 8,5 of 10 times I can process correctly. As for grammar or talking in English myself. Well, this is difficult for me. I'm very bad at this. This is humiliating. Can we not create threads like this in the future? Thanks.

>>191940260 (OP)1) For 18 years, lol. Never really studied it though. There was english lessons in my school since 1st grade and I was not so good at it untill I started to listen bands like Scorpions and play videogames with subtitles.2) I don't. I just use it as far as I can, reading news in english, playing games in english, listening songs in english, watching movies and TV series in english, sometimes writing emails in english on my job and reading answers.3) One of my friends is able to understand english in text, but we never tried to talk in english so I can't say for sure if he is speaking it or not.4) Have no idea. I'm able to do most of things i described before without any major problems, but language in books is too complicated for me and I don't have much practice in writing and speaking, so those skills of me are not so good as listening and reading.
>>191940260 (OP)1) since 4th grade2) I'm into languages a bit. Also playing vidya in the childhood was a strong incentive3) working in an international enterprise so naturally yes4) B2-C1. I passed the internal test of my uni for C1 but the certificate could hardly be used anywhere, it's not ielts or anything close to it, so I'm not sure that was a genuine test of my language skills
